OCTOBER & NOVEMBER 2008

Fall is in the air, and at Hidden Valley Stables, that means our annual Halloween Festival and a busy schedule of horse shows and events! Please join us for at least one of the many fun and exciting events on our calendar!
Upcoming Events

Hidden
Valley has several events scheduled over the next few weeks and hope to see many
of our students and their families in attendance. Please mark your calendars!
October 25th Halloween Festival - This
is the premiere annual event at Hidden Valley. We will kick off our evening gala
with a 6:00 pm costume contest for our students and their horse or pony of
choice. Please arrive at the barn in time to be ready for the contest. Prizes
will be awarded in several categories, so be creative! We will also host a
horseless horse show (always competitive!), lead the kids along a haunted trail
and have a bonfire. Food and beverages will be provided. If you haven’t
already RSVP’d, please call Melissa Barnes at 704-843-0197 or e-mail hiddenvalleystables@alltel.net
with the number in your family who plan to attend.
October 26th Clinic with Bruce Christison We
are very pleased to announce that Bruce Christison will be holding a clinic for
our show team riders on Sunday, October 26th. Bruce and his wife Amy own
Christison Stables in Camden, South Carolina and train many of the area’s top
horses and riders on the “A” circuit. Bruce has a wealth of knowledge to
share with our students. Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board in the upper
barn - please include the best times for the clinic. Cost is $65.
November 1st is
the date for our final Hidden Valley PHJA /Academy horse show if the season.
Please let your trainer know if you plan to show and sign up in the upper barn
with your name and choice of horse or pony. This is a great chance to test the
skills you have been learning during the fall season!

Medal Finals year-end show in Aiken, South Carolina
November 14-16 - PHJA
