Summer is a time to have fun, and our camp program offers a fun, safe and educational experience for your son or daughter!  Our summer camp program is designed for the first time rider or the rider that wishes to advance his or her knowledge of horses as well as the sport of riding.  The campers will be grouped based on the camper's age and riding experience.

Activities will include instruction on mounting and dismounting, proper hunt seat equitation at the walk/ trot and canter, while the more advanced riders will also learn to jump over fences. Trail rides are very popular with the campers, as well as fun games that improve knowledge and balance. Advanced camps will include off-site trips to Cane Creek for trail riding, WNAA in Monroe for cross country riding, and schooling over fences at other local farms.

Off-horse activities include instruction on proper grooming and tacking, horse breeds and colors, crafts and swimming. Our facility also includes an air-conditioned kitchen and lounge where campers can cool off. Come enjoy the family atmosphere at Hidden Valley Stables, where parents can also relax  in rocking chairs and watch from our two covered porches. The camp will finish on Friday with campers showing off their newly learned skills in a camp horse show!
