
Emily is from Greer, South Carolina and grew up riding, training and showing in the Tryon area. She competed during those years on the Blue Ridge Hunter Jumper Circuit as well as Progressive Show Jumping and South Carolina Hunter Jumper Association and earned numerous hunter, medal and equitation championships.

Emily graduated from Meredith Manor International Equestrian Center in 2006, where she was twice named Outstanding Rider. Her education included barn management, horse health, farrier science, equine massage and breeding. She also earned her Teaching Level II certification.
After college, Emily rode and groomed for Sandcastle Farms in Wellington , Florida, and has worked as a rider and instructor for Hidden Springs Farm (a pony breeding and training farm), and for Top Call Farm and The Meadows in South Carolina.
Emily has ridden in clinics with some of the area’s top trainers, including two clinics with US Olympic medalist and current Olympic show jumping coach, George Morris. She is also participating in the US Hunter Jumper Association’s Trainer Certification Program.
